The Pinellas County School District is seeking bids for the pick-up, delivery, and installation of sod. The contract period will commence on August 1, 2025, and end on July 31, 2026, with two optional one-year renewal periods. The district reserves the right to extend the terms and conditions of this solicitation to other agencies within the state of Florida. Bidders must provide documented evidence of experience in sod pick-up, delivery, and installation, as well as proof of a business license for at least five continuous years. The bid must include firm unit pricing for various types of sod, including Argentine Bahia, Paspalum Bahia, and St. Augustine. • The contract requires the supplier to have a Florida Fencing Erection/Installation license to sell, deliver, and install sod district-wide. • The supplier must comply with the State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) and the Florida Building Code. • The district prohibits discrimination in all purchasing and contracting. • The supplier must provide a list of all subcontractors that will be providing services for this project. • The supplier must meet all background screening requirements in accordance with Florida Statute F.S.255.0515 and SREF 4.2 (d) (3).
