The US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Acquisition Management Services, intends to issue a sole source award to the American Registry for Internet Numbers, Ltd. (ARIN) for the Government-owned IP Address space currently registered under the Agency's Org ID, in the ARIN registry. This service is required to maintain the legal registration, coordination, and authoritative documentation of the Agency's Internet number resources. The period of performance consists of a 12-month base period. • The American Registry for Internet Numbers, Ltd. (ARIN) is the only organization authorized by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) to manage and assign Internet number resources within the ARIN Region. • Maintenance of this registration is mandatory for compliance with global internet standards and to ensure the Agency's IP addresses remain globally unique and routable. • No other source can provide the authoritative registration and renewal services for the Agency's existing ARIN-assigned IP space.
