Description:
The West Virginia Purchasing Division is seeking a vendor to provide machining, welding, and fabrication services for the West Virginia Division of Highways. The vendor must have the ability to perform CNC fabrication, vertical milling, horizontal lathe, and welding. The contract will be awarded to the vendor that provides the lowest overall total cost for the contract services. The vendor will be responsible for providing all parts, materials, and labor necessary to repair equipment components and perform fabrication work. The vendor must also provide a written estimate of the cost to repair components and inspect all components prior to delivery to ensure that all repairs have been properly made. • The contract requires the vendor to have a primary contract manager responsible for overseeing the vendor's responsibilities under the contract. • The vendor must provide a warranty of 30 days for parts and labor performed under the contract. • The vendor is responsible for procuring all necessary parts needed to perform component repair under the contract. • All welding must be done by a welder certified in the type of welding process being used.
