The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to provide lawn care and landscaping services for approximately 11 acres of property at two sites in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The services include pre-season cleanup, edging, installation of dark hardwood mulch, pesticide application, weeding, turf management, and end-of-season cleanup. The vendor must have at least five years of experience in performing similar services and provide proof of current liability insurance coverage. The contract duration is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, with an optional one-year renewal. • The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items necessary to perform the contracted services. • The vendor must ensure that all work is performed in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and any revisions thereto. • The vendor must provide a written, systematic, and comprehensive Pest Control Plan for each site, which includes proposed methods for control, pest population level, service schedule, and cost per recommended service. • The vendor must develop a written, systematic, and comprehensive turf fertilization program based on soil analysis reports. • The vendor must perform aeration of turf surfaces and mowing and trimming of lawn areas at frequencies determined by vendor experience and actual turf growth.
