Description:
The United States Probation and Pretrial Services Office for the Southern District of Georgia is seeking vendors to provide substance abuse and mental health treatment services for federal defendants and offenders. The services will be provided through a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), which is a "charge account" arrangement between the buyer and seller for recurring purchases of services. The BPA will be valid for a specific period of time, not to exceed 60 months, including four 12-month options. The vendor must be capable of providing services within a geographic area encompassing Liberty and Long Counties. The services to be performed include urine collection, substance use assessment, substance use individual counseling, substance use group counseling, mental health assessment, mental health individual counseling, and mental health group counseling. The vendor must comply with all requirements and performance standards of the agreement to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services. • The vendor must have existing office space within the required catchment area. • The vendor must be able to provide the required services. • The services must be provided by certified, licensed professionals with experience in such treatment. • The prices of such treatment shall be as low as, or lower than, those charged to the treatment provider's most favored customer for comparable quantities under similar terms and conditions. • The vendor must submit pricing and proposal information related to only the required services. • The vendor must provide a comprehensive diagnostic interview for each defendant/person under supervision. • The vendor must provide a typed report to the USPO/USPSO within 10 business days of the vendor's completion of the diagnostic interview.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$2,500,000 – $10,000,000

Based on the information provided, it's difficult to estimate the exact budget for this opportunity. However, considering the services required and the fact that the BPA will be valid for 60 months, the budget could be substantial. The vendor will be paid for each service provided, and the prices will be determined based on the unit prices offered by the vendor. The total evaluated price will be determined by multiplying the estimated monthly quantity by 12 months and then by the unit price. The budget could range from $500,000 to $2 million per year, depending on the number of services provided and the unit prices.
