The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a consultant to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for District 7 - Chamblee. The scope of work includes contract administration, construction inspection, materials sampling and testing, documentation, and general contract compliance for highway and bridge projects. The consultant will provide an estimated 65 personnel to work under the direct supervision of the Department's Construction personnel. The project requires prequalification in the area class of Construction Engineering and Supervision. Key team leaders will include a Construction Project Engineer, Senior Inspector, Inspector II, and Bridge Inspector II. • The consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in the area class of Construction Engineering and Supervision. • The team must include personnel with experience in construction engineering, inspection, and materials testing. • The project requires compliance with GDOT regulations and standards. • The consultant will work closely with GDOT staff to ensure successful project delivery. • The project includes multiple areas, including Atlanta, DeKalb, Rockdale, Cobb, North Fulton, Clayton, Douglas, and South Fulton. • The consultant must adhere to the restriction of communication provision, which prohibits communication with GDOT staff except for the submission of questions as instructed in the RFQ.
