The California Department of Rehabilitation is seeking a contractor to provide office moving services for the Golden Valley District. The services will include removing office furniture, equipment, and related supplies from the existing location, transporting them to the new location, and replacing them according to the direction of the DOR Contract Administrator. The contractor will be required to provide a full range of services, including packing, moving, transportation, delivery, and unpacking. The contractor must have the necessary licenses and permits, including a C-61, Category D-34 License, and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The contract term is expected to be from August 15, 2025, to June 30, 2028. • The contractor must have experience in office moving services and must be able to provide a move coordinator to direct workers and ensure communication with the DOR. • The contractor must have the necessary equipment and vehicles to perform the services, including library and computer carts. • The contractor must be able to provide storage-in-transit services if required. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, employment, and environmental protection. • The contractor must have a business license from the city/county in which they are headquartered. • The contractor must have proof of current insurance certificates for Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Workers' Compensation.
