The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking proposals for armed and unarmed security guard services. The contractor will be responsible for providing security in facilities, offices, and clinics throughout the county. The services must be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including county-recognized holidays. The proposer must have a minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience providing both armed and unarmed security guard services, with a minimum of 300 security guards. The proposer must also have experience providing services to at least one of the following facilities: a health facility, health clinic for mental or behavioral health, or either a correctional or custody facility. Some key responsibilities include: • Providing armed and unarmed security guards and security guard supervisors • Ensuring that all security guards are trained, certified, and equipped to be deployed at locations within the county • Providing a minimum of 10% additional security guards and security guard supervisors who are trained, certified, and equipped to be deployed at locations within the county • Complying with all county contracts and regulations • Submitting a proposal that meets all the minimum mandatory requirements outlined in the RFP
