The County of Orange is seeking a design-build entity to provide design and construction services for the Juvenile Hall Redevelopment Phase II project. The project involves the modernization and redevelopment of the Juvenile Hall facilities, including the creation of a secure yet non-institutional environment, education staff administration, juvenile hall library services, and youth transition center library services. The project also includes demolition of existing buildings, secure fencing, landscape and hardscape, relocation of existing secure video monitoring systems, and significant site redevelopment and infrastructure improvements. The selected design-build entity will be responsible for providing a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) and executing the project in accordance with the County's requirements. Key aspects of the project include: • Design and construction of new facilities • Demolition of existing buildings • Site redevelopment and infrastructure improvements • Compliance with CEQA document(s) and regulatory agency permit requirements • Coordination with OC Public Works in the preparation of an amendment to the CEQA document(s) and regulatory permits, if required • Development and implementation of a Strategic Communication Plan
