The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional services for the Dallas Executive Airport. The scope of the project includes preparing an Airport Layout Plan (ALP) with a narrative, an 18B obstruction survey, and a drainage study consistent with the most current FAA Advisory Circulars and Standard Operating Procedures. The selected firm will be required to demonstrate its capability to perform all the services required for the project and provide a qualified team with experience in airport planning and drainage studies. The evaluation criteria for the selection of the firm include the capability to perform the required services, recent experience in developing airport plans and drainage studies, ability to meet the project schedule and deadlines, and the proposed technical approach and schedule to accomplish the project. • The project requires a Licensed Professional Engineer registered in Texas to draft, sign, and seal the drainage study component. • The proposed team must demonstrate its understanding of the project requirements and how to address them. • The project schedule will be based on the published project scope and the technical approach proposed by the selected firm. • The selection committee will review all submissions and rate and rank each firm based on the evaluation criteria. • The top-rated firm will be contacted to begin fee negotiations.
