The City of Brookhaven is seeking a full-time, on-site Deputy Public Works Director to provide exclusive responsibility to the city. The deputy director will be responsible for development and execution management of projects supporting master planning documents, providing dedicated support staffing, and acting as a liaison for outside agencies on infrastructure matters. The deputy director will also assist city management in developing the annual operating and capital budgets. Some key responsibilities include assigning, following up, and reporting citizen service requests, general inquiries from city staff, elected officials, media, etc., and maintaining logs and tracking records of the resolution of all such requests and complaints. • Provide full-time, on-site Deputy Public Works Director services • Develop and execute management of projects supporting master planning documents • Provide dedicated support staffing for citizen service requests and general inquiries • Act as a liaison for outside agencies on infrastructure matters • Assist city management in developing annual operating and capital budgets
