Description:
The University of Texas at Tyler is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive operation and management of food services on its campus. The successful proposer will design and provide services that enhance the quality of life for students, faculty, and staff, and contribute significantly to the total quality of the educational experience provided by the University. The services include full-service food, alcoholic beverage, and non-alcoholic beverage services, as well as meal plans, concessions, and catering. The University is looking for a proposer with an established record of providing high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective food services in the higher education market. • The University has over 10,000 students, with a diverse range of cultural and economic backgrounds. • The University requires students living in certain residence facilities to purchase a meal plan. • The University has eight different food service locations operating on campus. • The University is seeking a proposer that can provide high-quality food services, with a focus on customer satisfaction, marketing efforts, and quality of catering. • The proposer must have a minimum of five years of experience in providing university food and beverage services, and a minimum of ten current accounts with public universities with a student population of at least 10,000. • The proposer must also have a management and leadership team that has demonstrated the capability to provide superlative food service to university customers.
