The City of Sugar Land is requesting Submittals from Respondents who can adequately demonstrate they have the resources, experience, and qualifications to provide the City with knowledge of specialized engineering and oversight services for critical water and wastewater infrastructure. The purpose of this solicitation is to select one firm to work with the City of Sugar Land to provide design and construction administration phase services for current and future projects of a similar nature. • The project involves designing improvements to the West Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) expansion. • The design will evaluate plant hydraulics, process unit capacities, equipment efficiencies, and various components to identify necessary improvements for current and future regulatory compliance. • Firms are not expected to have specific knowledge of the West WWTP but should demonstrate experience in similar projects. • The City of Sugar Land will evaluate the Submittals based on the evaluation criteria stated in the RFQ. • The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all Submittals to this RFQ as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
