Description:
The Town of Little Elm is seeking proposals to furnish and install a submersible sewage pump, motor, power cable, lifting chain, mounting hardware, and all necessary appurtenances for the Sunset Point Lift Station. The pump should be capable of handling raw, unscreened wastewater and storm water, and should be designed for watertight operation with continuous submergence under 65 feet of water with a maximum temperature of 100°F. The proposal should include all necessary controls and starters, and the contractor should supply all necessary components for proper starting and operation of the pump. Some key requirements of the pump include: • Producing 792 GPM at 72 ft. TDH with a minimum pump efficiency of 59% • Being capable of handling an 8% solid concentration • Being non-overloading throughout the entire range of operation without employing service factor • Having a minimum B-10 life of 50,000 hours for the upper and lower radial bearings • Being designed for easy removal for inspection or service, requiring no bolts, nuts, or other fastening to be disconnected The proposal should be submitted electronically through IonWave, and any offers received outside of the system will be rejected.
