Description:
The United States Marine Corps is seeking ferry transportation services to support training and operations at Ie Shima Auxiliary Airfield in Okinawa, Japan. The services are required to transport U.S. Government personnel and vehicles between Motobu Peninsula Port and Ie Shima Port. The contract is expected to be a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a five-year base ordering period and five one-year option periods. The total estimated dollar value is $900,000.00. • The ferry services will be used for U.S. Government personnel, including U.S. Military, U.S. Civilian, and Master Labor Contract (MLC)/Indirect Hire Agreement (IHA) personnel. • The services will also be used for Government vehicles that have been approved by designated Government authorizing officials. • The contract will be awarded to Ie Village, the incumbent contractor, due to its exclusive geographic access and ownership of the required infrastructure. • The period of performance is from 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2031, with five one-year option periods through 31 March 2036.
