The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to provide ballast tank cleaning services for the USCGC BEAR. The contractor will need to drain, clean, and dispose of contents from three ballast tanks, and provide a Marine Chemist to gas free the tanks. The contractor will also need to provide hardware and gasket for the tank covers, air compressor, and tanks for storing/disposal of fluids. The period of performance will be from 23-28 March 2026. • The contractor must remove access covers and dispose of all fluids and/or residues in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. • The contractor must clean the interior surfaces of the tanks free of all foreign materials. • The contractor must provide a detailed cost breakdown, including unit cost, extended price, and total price. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide a UEI number. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
