The program provides funding for projects that support economic recovery and resilience in regions affected by natural disasters. Eligible applicants include district organizations, Indian tribes, state and local governments, institutions of higher education, and non-profit organizations. The program has three funding pathways: Readiness, Implementation, and Industry Transformation. The Readiness Path provides funding for non-construction projects that increase a community's readiness to apply for or implement disaster recovery funding. The Implementation Path provides funding for construction and non-construction projects that address economic challenges faced by a community recovering from a natural disaster. The Industry Transformation Path provides funding for large-scale, multi-component construction and non-construction projects that transform the economic trajectory of a region. • Eligible projects include construction and non-construction projects that support economic recovery and resilience. • Eligible applicants must demonstrate a clear understanding of the project's goals and objectives. • Applications will be reviewed based on their technical merit, feasibility, and potential impact. • Funding will be awarded on a competitive basis, with a maximum award amount of $50,000,000. • The program requires a cost-sharing or matching component, with EDA generally expecting to fund up to 80% of the eligible costs.
