Description:
The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to perform annual maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers and emergency equipment at various locations in the Willamette Valley Project. The contractor will be required to provide an Excel spreadsheet (inventory) of all fire extinguishers by location and serial number, and to perform the work in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. The contract will be for a base period of one year, with four option years. Some key points about this opportunity are: * The contract will require the contractor to provide monthly inspections and inventory of all fire extinguishers and provide the government with an updated service record. * The contractor will need to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including NFPA 10, Standards for Fire Extinguishers, 2013 edition. * The contractor must also comply with the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements manual EM385-1-1. * The contractor must provide the completed inventory electronically to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) 60 days prior to contract completion. * The contract will be Quenton Chocktoot, reachable at Quenton.P.Chocktoot@usace.army.mil, or 541-521-0275. * The offeror must submit their offer in accordance with the instructions in the solicitation, and the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$250,000 – $500,000

The budget estimation for this opportunity is between $250,000 and $500,000. The reasoning behind this estimation is that the work involves annual maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and emergency equipment at multiple locations, and the base contract period is 5 years, with four option years. Given the scope of work and the fact that the contract is a firm fixed price contract, the total contract value is likely to be substantial. However, the exact budget amount is not specified in the solicitation document.
