Description:
Hays County is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the construction of a new three-story Mass Timber office building. The project includes the installation of all on-site utilities, stormwater detention and drainage systems, public and secured private parking lots, and a two-lane covered drive-thru. The CMAR will be responsible for preconstruction services, development of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimate, creation and maintenance of the project construction schedule, and coordination and sequencing of all building trades and activities on site. Key aspects of the project include: • A new three-story Mass Timber office building with approximately 72,000 square feet • Secured private and employee parking lots and a two-lane covered drive-thru • Installation of all on-site utilities, stormwater detention and drainage systems • Coordination with local, state, and federal agencies to expedite the construction process • Compliance with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations established by federal, state, and local authorities
