The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for the improvement of Scott Park. The work consists of the construction of a new basketball court, three pickleball courts, and a new playground, as well as the installation of concrete sidewalk and paving of driveway and parking lot areas. The contract will be a Unit Price Contract, and payments will be made on a monthly basis based on actual quantities of work measured. The contract time is 105 calendar days. • The bid must be accompanied by a signed and notarized non-collusive affidavit and a signed and notarized Georgia Security & Immigration Compliance affidavit. • A certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent of the amount bid is required. • A Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent of the contract price will be required if the bid price is more than $25,000. • A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on April 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Engineering Department office.
