The Teacher Retirement System of Texas is seeking a vendor to provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to its employees and their families. The selected vendor will provide a broad scope of EAP services, including evaluation, short-term counseling, and referrals. The initial contract term will be two years, with two optional one-year renewal terms. The vendor must have at least five years of experience providing EAP services to an employer with at least 500 employees. The vendor must also have staff with at least five years of experience providing EAP services, including counseling, making referrals, and training. • The vendor must provide services at multiple TRS offices in Texas, including Austin and El Paso. • The vendor must have a comprehensive list of cities and states where they have physical offices and staff to provide services. • The vendor must provide counseling services staff with at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral science. • The vendor must have at least one counseling services staff member licensed or certified by each of the following state regulating agencies: Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, Texas State Board of Psychologists, Texas State Board of Licensed Social Workers, Texas State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Texas State Board of Marriage and Family Therapists, and Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
