The Frederick County Division of Aging & Independence is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide community-based respite care services in a safe, structured environment to adults, age 55+ who reside in Frederick County, Maryland. The services must be provided by licensed individuals who will relieve the family or informal caregiver from the demands of caring for an adult with physical/cognitive conditions. The contract period shall be for one year commencing on or about July 1, 2026, with renewal options for four additional years in one-year increments, exercisable at the sole discretion of the County. • The proposal should include a work proposal, beneficial impact/community needs/program, qualifications of contractor, and references for similar projects. • The contractor must have been actively engaged in respite care services for a minimum of two years. • The contractor must provide insurance as outlined in the insurance requirements section. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and legally enforceable rules and regulations applicable to its activities and obligations under the contract.
