The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Far East (FE) is seeking information from qualified and experienced offerors for a potential Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to provide Preventive Maintenance and Inspection Services (PMI) for the High Quality Water (HQW) and Feed Water Facilities Bldg. 5229 in Yokosuka, Japan. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and altering the facilities to ensure they are fully functional and in normal working condition. The scope of work includes recurring and non-recurring tasks, such as service orders, preventive maintenance programs, and task orders for specified ELINs. • The contractor must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract. • The contractor must have business permits of specific construction permit (Tokutei-Kensetsu-Gyou) or common construction permit (Ittupan- Kensetsu-Gyou) under GOJ construction industry law article 3, section 1 (Dai-3-jou, Dai-1-kou) for maintenance repair and replacement services, and disposal of generated industrial waste, under this contract. • The contractor's specific construction permit or common construction permit shall include the following minimum required types of construction work: Construction Equipment Inspection Qualification, Machinery and equipment installation, Telecommunication Construction Industry, Electrical Engineering Industry, Water Supply Facilities Construction Business, and/or Plumbing Business.
