Burnet County is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional engineering services for the coordination of county-wide transportation planning efforts and the development of a Transportation Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan and Program (CIPP). The selected firm will assist the County in identifying transportation needs, prioritizing projects, coordinating with regional partners, and providing reports to summarize activities. The scope of work includes transportation planning and coordination, public involvement, CIPP development, and written reports. The firm will be required to have experience in transportation planning and CIPP development, and to demonstrate their ability to manage the project schedule and quality control. Some key tasks and deliverables include: * Data analysis to identify current and future congestion points * Inter-agency coordination with TxDOT, CAMPO, and local municipalities * Thoroughfare plan updates to reflect changing development patterns * Public meetings and stakeholder workshops to gather input on transportation needs * Project identification and cost estimation for roadway, bridge, and drainage infrastructure projects * Prioritization matrix to rank projects based on safety, mobility, economic development impact, and readiness * Implementation schedule for the CIPP * Written reports to summarize activities and provide recommendations
