The Indian Health Service is seeking a design-build contractor for the construction of a new 70,000 square foot Alamo Navajo Health Center in New Mexico. The facility will serve as a comprehensive outpatient wellness center and will provide various services including ambulatory care, community health services, medical, dental, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, pharmacy, public health nursing, nutrition, emergency medical services, and more. The design-build contractor will be responsible for completing the design, construction, and startup of the project. The period of performance is anticipated to commence in 2026 and will last for 1020 days. The estimated price range for design and construction is between $80,000,000 and $120,000,000. • The project requires the design and construction of a new health center with a substantial two-story section. • The facility will serve approximately 2,650 tribal residents and will replace the existing IHS clinic on the Alamo Navajo reservation. • The design-build contractor must have recent and relevant experience on similar projects. • The contractor must submit a proposal that includes information on their design and construction experience, key personnel, and project approach. • The Government will evaluate the proposals based on factors such as specialized experience, technical and professional qualifications, and past performance.
