The New York City Department of Social Services (DSS)/Human Resources Administration (HRA) is seeking qualified contractors to operate and maintain emergency shelter beds for survivors of domestic violence (DV) through this open-ended Request for Proposals (RFP/RFx). The contractors will provide emergency housing and support services that will deescalate crisis, maximize economic stability, and build clients’ support systems. Such services include, but are not limited to: temporary shelter, resident needs-assessments, support in securing permanent housing, information and referrals, individual and group counseling, client advocacy, employment assistance, children’s services, first aid, emergency food, security, cleaning and maintenance.
