The Town of Ithaca is seeking a Professional Engineer to provide engineering services for a timeframe to be determined. The chosen engineer/firm will work with the Town's existing Engineering staff to accomplish the needs of the Town. The scope of services includes site development review, water distribution system and sewer collection system projects, parks, trails, and natural area projects, stormwater projects, road construction and road reconstruction, vehicular and traffic safety projects, pedestrian and bicycle safety projects, building construction, building renovation and additions, maintenance or replacement of building systems including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. • Review for approval of contract documents and drawings prepared by the Town of Ithaca Engineering Department staff. • Coordination meetings with Town staff in conjunction with engineering-related projects. • Stormwater review, including Full SWPPP review, as required by NYS Department of Conservation Construction General Permit. • Review plans associated with Capital Improvement Plans for infrastructure projects. • Work with Director of Public Works on any specific work that requires review by a Professional Engineer.
