The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Waste Management for collection and disposal of solid waste and recyclable materials services for the VA Northern California Health Care System. The contractor will be responsible for providing sufficient storage containers and equipment for government use, collecting and disposing of waste, and maintaining the containers in a clean and sanitary condition. The contract will include the removal of standard solid waste, construction debris, mixed recyclables, mattresses and beddings, and landscaping debris. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the collection and disposal of waste.
