The City of Cortez is seeking a contractor to replace the roof of the Water Plant building in Dolores, Colorado. The project includes removing the existing roof, installing a new coverboard, tapered insulation, 60 MIL TPO membrane, and coping cap metal, as well as new roof drains, parapet caps, and edge flashing. The contractor must also dispose of all removed materials. The project requires a 20-year NDL Manufacturer Warranty. • The contractor must have experience in roofing-specific general contracting services within the last three years for at least two projects in excess of $20,000. • The contractor must demonstrate specific general contracting experience in projects of similar scope and complexity. • The contractor must be fully insured with General Liability Insurance, Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance, and Professional Liability Insurance with minimum combined single limits of $1,000,000. • The contractor must provide a detailed staffing plan, safety plan, and safety record. • The contractor must comply with all applicable provisions of §§24-85-101, et seq., C.R.S., and the Accessibility Standards for Individuals with a Disability.
