The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is seeking to purchase one new brand name or equal to Thermo Fisher Scientific Neoma Multicollector Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS) and associated components, including all required software, warranty, installation, testing, and instrument familiarization training. The instrument will be used at the USGS Mercury Research Laboratory (MRL) at Upper Midwest Water Science Center, Madison, WI. Key features of the instrument include the ability to control gas flows, individually regulate argon gas flows, and fully adjust gas flow rates through software controls. The instrument must also have an argon inductively coupled plasma ion source, a radio frequency (RF) generator, and double focusing ion optics. The contractor must provide a 12-month warranty, shipping, delivery, installation, testing, and training. * The instrument must meet all the brand name or equal minimum salient characteristics listed in the solicitation. * The contractor must provide a detailed product specification sheet and/or product brochure that demonstrates the proposed product meets the brand name or equal minimum salient characteristics. * The contractor must quote authentic, manufacturer-certified/warranted products in original, intact manufacturer's packaging. * The contractor must provide an itemized firm-fixed price quote, including warranty, shipping, delivery, installation, testing, and training. * The contractor must complete all provision fill-ins listed in the solicitation and provide them as an attachment with the quote.
