The County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, is soliciting proposals for automated impact response sounding as a non-destructive testing (NDT) method to identify delaminations and surface level defects for Hennepin County bridges. The selected consultant will perform automated impact response sounding in accordance with ASTM D4580/D4580M-12 to identify the location and extent of delaminated areas throughout the designated bridge decks. • The total approximated roadway area of the bridges is 69,500 SF. • The bridges are located on County roads and cities in Minnesota. • The consultant must have performed automated impact response sounding on at least one bridge deck on a similar type project within the last five years. • The consultant must self-perform the contract and may not subcontract any portion of the work. • The initial contract shall be completed within the current year, and the County reserves the right to utilize the rates provided for additional work for up to two years from the date of contract award.
