The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health is seeking bids for the procurement of an Animal Care Disaster Evacuation and Transport Vehicle. The vehicle must be a medium to heavy duty enclosed vehicle with a back-up camera, at least 35 built-in kennels, a small workspace for staff, an awning, and equipped with electricity and HVAC unit(s). The vendor must also provide the installation of a vehicle wrap. The contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder providing the best value. • The vehicle must meet specific requirements, including a leveling system, ducted HVAC, backup camera, flooring, finished ceiling and trim, laminate/solid surface, 12V LED lighting, modular crates, kennels, storage/utility counters, small desk space with chair, exterior vinyl graphics, design and installation, cellular and satellite connectivity, roof-mounted cellular antenna, roof-mounted Starlink flat high-performance antenna, and Wi-Fi router. • The contract includes a two-year service and maintenance support, a 10-year extended warranty on the chassis and drivetrain, fabricated components, and wear components. • The vendor must comply with all applicable standards, orders, or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. • The vendor must also comply with the Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment and disclose any lobbying activities.
