The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) is seeking a certified public accounting firm licensed in California to provide internal audit services. The selected firm will work under a professional services agreement to assess and strengthen internal controls, risk management, and governance practices across various operational and financial areas. The scope of work includes conducting internal audits, developing risk assessments, and providing audit planning, program development, reporting, and recommendations. The firm will report directly to the Finance and Audit Committee and coordinate with the Authority's executive leadership. Key areas of focus include financial management, procurement and contracting, construction oversight, information technology governance, and compliance monitoring. • The firm will be expected to provide objective, risk-based audit services that support the Authority's strategic goals and enhance operational integrity. • The firm will work closely with the Finance and Audit Committee to deliver audit services and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational effectiveness. • The firm will be responsible for conducting audits, developing audit programs, and providing reports and recommendations. • The firm will be required to have experience in performing internal audits in complex business environments, preferably with a strong understanding of the airport industry. • The firm will be expected to demonstrate its ability to provide high-quality audit services, including its approach to audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
