The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering (BOE), Architectural Division and the Department of Recreation & Parks are seeking a consultant to provide professional design and construction administration services for the Roger Jessup Park Childcare Center. The project includes the demolition of an existing inactive building, design and construction of a new 5,000-square-foot Childcare Center, development of an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant pedestrian sidewalk, and improvement of the parking area. The selected consultant will provide professional services within the budgeted construction cost of $8 million and a project duration of approximately three years. • The consultant will be responsible for providing design and construction administration services, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, bid and award phase, construction phase, and post-construction phase. • The consultant will also be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including the BOE, Department of Recreation & Parks, and other agencies having jurisdiction over the project. • The consultant will be required to attend meetings, provide presentations, and respond to requests for information in a timely manner.
