The Montgomery County Government is seeking a contractor to operate the Shady Grove Transfer Station (TS) and provide services for the acceptance, processing, loading, transfer, staging, transportation, and disposal of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The MSW includes residential household trash, commercial waste, construction and demolition waste, and stormwater structure cleanout materials. The contractor will be responsible for the operation of the TS and the disposal of MSW as directed by the County. Key aspects of the job include: • Operation of the Shady Grove Transfer Station • Acceptance, processing, loading, transfer, staging, transportation, and disposal of MSW • Handling of residential household trash, commercial waste, construction and demolition waste, and stormwater structure cleanout materials • Compliance with the paint-filter test from the Oaks Landfill Oil/Grit Management Facility The contractor will need to register on the BidNet's Maryland Purchasing Group platform to submit their proposal.
