The City of Hogansville, Georgia is seeking bids for the replacement of galvanized water service lines throughout the system. The work includes determining the service line material on approximately 266 water services 2 inches in diameter and smaller, and replacing the galvanized water service lines. The project is proposed to be funded with a State Revolving Fund loan and is subject to American Iron and Steel Special Conditions and Build America, Buy America requirements. • The project requires a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and a state "Utility Manager" certificate holder to oversee the work. • The time allotted for construction is 120 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 150 days for final completion. • The bid bond must be at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work. • The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
