The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Mercury Research Laboratory (MRL) at Upper Midwest Water Science Center, Madison, WI has a requirement to purchase one (1) new brand name or equal to Thermo Fisher Scientific Neoma multicollector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS) to ensure highest quality data can be provided to ongoing contractual and research projects and to expand analytical capabilities to meet the needs of future investigative studies. The instrument and all components provided must meet specific requirements, including warranty, shipping, delivery, installation, testing, and training. * The instrument must be a brand name or equal to Thermo Fisher Scientific Neoma multicollector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (MC-ICP-MS) * The instrument must have specific features, such as ability to control gas flows, individually regulate argon gas flows, and have a double focusing ion optics with forward Nier Johnson geometry * The instrument must come with all required software, warranty, installation, testing, and instrument familiarization training * The vendor must provide a one-page summary with contact and company information, including SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), and clearly state if they are providing the brand name product or an equal product
