The Orangeburg County is seeking a contractor to replace the flooring at the Nix Stilton Community Complex. The project involves the demolition of existing VCT flooring, installation of new LVT flooring, and other related work. The contractor must be registered with SAM.gov and provide an identification number to be eligible to bid on this project. The contractor will be responsible for transporting and furnishing all labor and materials required for the project, removing existing flooring, applying a vapor moisture encapsulator, installing new flooring, and ensuring that all work meets state and local codes and ADA requirements. • The project location is at the Nix Stilton Community Complex, 770 Stilton Road, Orangeburg, SC 29115. • The contractor must provide an itemized schedule of values with the proposal, outlining the cost for each category. • The contractor must have adequate capital, an acceptable credit rating, efficient office and field forces, and extensive knowledge of each type of work involved in the scope of work. • The contractor must have Workmen's Compensation Insurance if awarded the bid. • The evaluation criteria include compliance with the scope of work and bidder qualifications, total cost, bidder record of performances and integrity, ability to deliver in a timely manner, product performance, special features of the supply or service, warranty considerations, and maintenance availability.
