Description:
The California Military Department is seeking a contractor to replace the existing damaged switchboard and associated electrical components at the Field Maintenance Shop 10 (FMS 10) in Los Angeles, CA. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and fees necessary for the project. The project must be completed within 365 calendar days. The contractor must possess a type C-10 - Electrical Contractor license and/or B- General Building Contractor License, or subcontract to one. • The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid job walk on 08/14/2025. • The contractor must submit all questions regarding the IFB to Robert Hawkins by 08/20/2025. • The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of at least 10% of the bid amount. • The contractor must provide a payment bond and a performance bond if the contract exceeds $25,000 and $10,000 respectively. • The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal laws, including the Buy Clean California Act. • The contractor must recognize the mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency in the State Energy Conservation Plan. • The contractor must participate in the utilization of the CMD Project Management Software. • The contractor must provide qualified, licensed, and trained personnel during the contract period. • The contractor must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1990. • The contractor must certify compliance with the Unruh Civil Rights Act and the Fair Employment and Housing Act. • The contractor must provide a list of proposed subcontractors and suppliers. • The contractor must agree to pay not less than the minimum rates of pay for laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed on the work.
