The Department of General Services (DGS) Bureau of Procurement (BOP) is seeking information from the furniture industry on a potential future contract structure for office furniture. The Commonwealth is considering one furniture contract for Office Furniture, rather than two contracts for Systems and Commercial furniture. The request seeks information from which the Commonwealth can formulate specifications and cost structures for future furniture contracts. • The current Commonwealth Systems Contract (4400025807) will expire on May 31, 2027, and the current Commonwealth Commercial Contract (4400025562) will expire on April 30, 2027. • The Commonwealth is requesting feedback from furniture manufacturers and dealers only. • Respondents must include a cover page on their letter company letterhead that includes a point of contact name, phone number, and email address. • Completed Attachment A, Systems & Commercial Furniture Questionnaire & Attachment B, Dealers/Count(ies) must be included. • The Commonwealth is requesting that all responses to this RFI be submitted via email to Char Riley, chariley@pa.gov by 1:30 PM EST on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
