The City of Eagle Pass is seeking a firm to provide federal legislative and lobbying consulting services. The selected firm will represent the City in federal legislative and governmental matters related to projects, initiatives, and priorities identified by the City Council. Services shall include representation during regular, extended, or special sessions of Congress, participation in federal administrative and agency hearings, meetings, briefings, and rulemaking proceedings, and coordination with federal officials and stakeholders. The firm will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive Federal Legislative Program, identifying federal grant opportunities, and assisting the City in preparing appropriations requests. • The contract will be for a two-year period with the option to renew for an additional two one-year periods. • The City is seeking a firm with experience in federal legislative and lobbying consulting services. • The firm will be required to provide monthly updates and quarterly status reports. • The firm will be responsible for coordinating meetings and appointments between City officials and Members of Congress, congressional staff, and federal agency representatives. • The firm will be required to attend meetings, represent the interests of the City, and serve as a liaison between the City and Congress, federal agencies, and other federal entities.
