The U.S. Embassy London is seeking a contractor to provide painting services for various government-owned and leased properties in the London area. The contractor will be responsible for painting interior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and woodwork, and must ensure that all work is completed to a high standard. The contractor must also provide their own tools and equipment and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with relevant British Standards and Health and Safety regulations. The contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a base year and two one-year option periods. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. • The contractor must provide a detailed program of works, including risk assessments and method statements. • The contractor must ensure that all work is completed in accordance with relevant British Standards and Health and Safety regulations. • The contractor must provide a valid copy of their "Controlled Waste Carriers" license and conform to Controlled Waste Regulations 1991. • The contractor must minimize spills, drips, and miss-application of paint to areas and surfaces not scheduled to receive a painted finish.
