The City of Cripple Creek is seeking bids for the new construction of a childcare facility in Cripple Creek, Colorado. The project includes all work described in the Design Development Drawings and Project Manual prepared by Compass TDG Architecture for the ground-up construction of a two-story childcare facility. The work includes architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and civil scopes outlined in the Contract Documents. • The project must be completed and receive a Certificate of Occupancy no later than December 31, 2026. • A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on October 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM. • The project is funded in part by public grant sources and is subject to equal opportunity employment requirements. • The selected contractor must ensure nondiscrimination in employment and may be required to coordinate with local workforce agencies. • A certified check or bank draft, payable to the City of Cripple Creek, or negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each bid.
