The Department of Public Safety is seeking bids for Generator Maintenance & Inspection Services at 2720 Industrial Boulevard Abilene, TX. 79605. The contract term will be for 5 years. Bidders must submit their bids by 5:00 PM Central Time on 03/14/2025. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 10:30 A.M. on February 27th and 10:30 A.M. on February 28th. • The bid must include all costs, fees, licenses, and expenses for the delivery and performance of the commodities or services requested. • The bid must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. • The bid must include a completed Mandatory Pricing Schedule. • The bid must include information on the bidder's financial resources and ability to perform the services. • The bid must include a statement regarding the bidder's financial stability and viability to perform under the contract. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose bid is determined to be the best value. • The contract will be for a term of 5 years, with the option for renewal. • The contractor will be required to provide generator maintenance and inspection services at the specified location. • The contractor will be required to work with DPS and any new contractor to smoothly and seamlessly transition the contract, if necessary. • The contractor will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based Criminal History Background Investigation, if required by DPS. • The contractor will be required to provide a transition plan, if necessary.
