The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is offering grants to support coastal habitat restoration and resilience projects that benefit tribes and underserved communities. The funding opportunity aims to enhance the resilience of these communities to climate hazards through capacity building, meaningful engagement, and restoration project activities. Eligible applicants include tribes, tribal entities, underserved communities, and entities that partner with these groups. The proposed projects should focus on coastal, estuarine, marine, or Great Lakes areas and prioritize activities that have the greatest potential to lead to habitat restoration.
