Description:
The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District is seeking statements of qualifications from highly qualified architects with experience dealing with historic properties to provide master planning and rehabilitation services for the Trujillo Adobe Heritage Village. The project involves developing a master plan and rehabilitating the adobe, which is a partially intact ruin of an adobe single-family residence constructed in 1862. The architect will take the lead on all efforts to gather input from the public, local planning groups, interested specialty groups, and the municipalities involved in both the master plan and the Adobe work. The project budget has not been finalized and grants are being sought, but will likely be over $10M. The goal is to complete all work within 3 years of award of contract.
