The University of Minnesota is seeking a contractor to provide construction services for tunnel repairs and waterproofing in the Church Street Garage, located on the east bank of the Twin Cities campus. The project includes concrete repair, sealant replacement, concrete topping and sidewalk removal and replacement, new hot-applied rubberized asphalt waterproofing membrane, curb removal and replacement, and bituminous pavement removal and replacement. The contractor will be selected based on their experience, team qualifications, project approach, and cost. The university has a targeted business and community economic development program, and the contractor will be required to participate in this program. The project is expected to start on August 4, 2025, and be completed by September 30, 2025. • The contractor will be required to submit a lump sum bid for the project. • The contractor will be required to provide a certificate of insurance and payment and performance bonds. • The contractor will be required to comply with the university's prevailing wage rate requirements. • The contractor will be required to submit monthly reports to substantiate compliance with the targeted business and community economic development program. • The contractor will be required to participate in the university's workforce utilization program.
