The City of Clovis is seeking a qualified planning and conceptual design company to develop a 20-year master plan for the Hillcrest Park Zoo. The plan should include a shared vision and operational roadmap for developing and promoting the zoo as a vibrant conservation education center and valuable community resource. The consultant's responsibilities will include a summary analysis of the existing facility, development of a facilities master plan, and creation of a strategic business plan. • The zoo is a 27.5-acre facility located within the 157-acre Hillcrest Park in Clovis, New Mexico. • The zoo features over 150 animals and 63 different species. • The zoo's mission is to connect and celebrate the region's love of nature and wildlife through conservation, protection, and educational experiences. • The consultant will meet with the City and conduct a summary analysis of the zoo, including its current programs, visitor amenities, and existing facilities. • The consultant will design and develop a facilities master plan, including concept development, animal exhibit plans, and visitor services and amenities. • The consultant will develop a strategic business plan, including a market analysis, economic impact analysis, and attendance and operational projections.
