The City of Statham, Georgia is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the Oak Street Spring Improvements. The project includes the construction of a new spring drinking water treatment building, clearwell/chlorine contact chamber, submersible pumps, yard piping, electrical, generator, telemetry, overflow metering system, and demolition of the existing building and contact chamber. Bids will be received at Statham City Hall until 10:00 a.m. on April 2, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the owner with insurance, workman's compensation insurance, and performance and payment bonds. • The project is being financed by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Recovery Funds (SLFRF) • The contractor/bidder's attention is called to the applicable David-Bacon Wage Rate Determination and Reporting Requirements • Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia
