Description:
The U.S. Army is seeking a contractor to provide inspection, certification, hose and valve head replacements, Cylinder Hydrostatic Testing, and CO2 System recharge/reconditioning support for the Corpus Christi Army Depot's (CCAD) CO2 Fire Suppression Systems. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, parts, and materials necessary to perform the work. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew. The contractor must be licensed/registered by the Texas Department of Insurance for Fire Extinguisher certification. • The contractor will be required to perform semi-annual inspections and certifications of the CO2 Fire Suppression Systems. • The contractor will be required to provide support and repair maintenance for the systems. • The contractor will be required to provide cylinder hydrostatic testing and CO2 recharging/reconditioning as needed. • The contractor must ensure that production down-time is minimized. • The contractor must comply with all security requirements, including obtaining a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Card.
